When it comes to everything in life, I absolutely love a theme and it makes me happy when things are matchy matchy. As soon as Brian and I started planning our wedding, I knew that I wanted there to be a clear and consistent theme representing Brian and I throughout the entire day.
Creating a wedding logo enabled us to have this constant thread throughout every aspect of our wedding. From the invitations to the dinner menus.
It was really simple to include our wedding logo in multiple places thanks to Vistaprint. I
had a graphic-designer friend create the logo for us, and she sent us the logo in color, black and white, and in various file types so that we could get it printed in many different sizes and clearly display it on our wedding web site. She also sent us the HEX Color Code (the number that distinguishes the exact color you are working with) and the exact fonts she used so that we could keep the color and fonts consistent on the rest of our printed items.
When printing from Vistaprint, we uploaded the file of the wedding logo image to have it printed on business cards which were used for name tags and place cards, thank you cards that we placed in our guests welcome bags, and stickers to seal our invitations, decorate our flip flops, label our water bottles and wedding-favor cookie bags.
We even had a large magnet with our wedding logo printed to put on the side of our getaway car!
Another creative place where we used our logo was the “getting ready” shirts for my bridesmaids and me. We simply printed the logo onto Iron-On Transfer Paper, then ironed the logo onto the pocket of men’s dress shirts we found at a second-hand store. Having these button-up shirts not only looked cute in pictures, but they were practical allowing our hair and makeup to stay in tact as we changed into our dresses.
Our wedding was everything that Brian and I could have hoped for, and the details truly made it one of a kind. There was no doubt about which wedding you were at, because ours was clearly labeled B & T.
