Pumpkin Pie Smoothie Bowl

OK, I have to admit, I have been holding out on you!

Several mornings these past couple of weeks, I have enjoyed a deliciously filling and creamy Pumpkin Pie Smoothie Bowl…and I haven’t shared the recipe!

Pumpkin Pie Smoothie

If you love pumpkin pie, pumpkin ice cream, pumpkin spice lattes…or anything pumpkin  you will love this smoothie!  It is the perfect way to refuel after a workout, and it’s great for breakfast.  Honestly, I think it may be good enjoyed any time of the day 😉

Pumpkin Pie Smoothie

Yields:  1 Smoothie served in a bowl or a cup

Ingredients:

  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1/4 cup plain, nonfat Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 plain pureed pumpkin
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
  • 1/3 cup almond milk (can add more if you don’t want it quite as thick!)
  • a sprinkle of pumpkin pie spice
  • 2 ice cubes to make it extra cold!

Directions:

Combine all ingredients in blender until desired consistency.  Enjoy!

  1. I love seeing all the different pumpkin pie recipes everyone comes up with. All so different, but sound delicious! I love using cinnamon bun protein powder instead of vanilla in mine.
