Just a quick little shout out…I’m so excited to say that recently David Tutera’s Blog “It’s A Bride’s Life” posted about branding and personalizing a wedding with pictures from my wedding 🙂 Click the link to check it out!
Was it just me, or did this weekend seem extra long? Definitely not complaining there, but I think with the holidays sandwiching this weekend it made it that much better.
Friday night, Brian and I met up with friends at a local pizzaria, Napolese, for a delicious dinner and drinks.
We sipped prosecco, limoncello, and snacked on olives while we waited for our meal to arrive. It really made Brian and I miss our Italian honeymoon.
Everyone at the table shared a couple of pizzas. Although the pizza looked mighty tasty I thought something else looked mighty tasty…
The Brussels Sprouts salad! The salad was made of halved, cooked brussel sprouts topped with almonds and cherries with a balsamic dressing. Yum!
Saturday, after teaching Bodypump Brian and I just ran around town completing some errands before heading out to our last date night of the year.

We spent the evening walking around the Indianapolis Zoo admiring the animals and the beautiful Christmas lights. It was such a fun way to extend the holiday season a few extra days 🙂
After the zoo, Brian and I were both pretty hungry. Luckily, we had gone grocery shopping earlier in the day and I had all the ingredients for Skinny Taste’s Butternut Squash and Black Bean Enchiladas. These were absolutely delicious and so easy to make!! We can’t wait to make them again 🙂
All in all, it was a fun and pretty relaxing weekend!
Hope you all enjoyed your weekend, too!
